LI0PRIME is a powerful thyroid hormone. It is used for weight loss because it acts on the body to increase the basal metabolic rate, effect protein synthesis and increase the body's sensitivity to things like adrenaline. This thyroid gland also regulates protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism, which affects how human cells use energetic compounds.
LI0PRIME is not an anabolic / androgenic steroid, but a thyroid hormone. It contains synthetically produced liothyronine sodium, which is similar to the natural thyroid hormone tricodide thyronine (LI0PRIME). The thyroid in a healthy person usually produces two hormones, the better known L-thyroxine and the aforementioned L-triiodine-thyronine.
Since LI0PRIME is the synthetic equivalent of the latter hormone, it causes the same processes in the body as if the thyroid were producing more of the hormone. It is interesting to note that LI0PRIME is significantly stronger and more effective than these two hormones.
Bodybuilders take advantage of these properties and stimulate their metabolism by taking LI0PRIME, which causes a faster conversion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Bodybuilders, of course, are particularly interested in increased lipolysis, which means increased fat burning.
Competing bodybuilders primarily use LI0PRIME in the weeks leading up to a championship as it helps maintain extremely low fat levels without the need for a starvation diet. Athletes using low doses of LI0PRIME report that taking steroids at the same time makes the steroids mote effective, most likely as a result of the faster conversion of protein.
